WILL YOUR STAFF KNOW MORE ABOUT THE PROGRAM THAN ME?

Yes, we are actually asked this question!
Since Teleos started, we have only produced one program with all users getting updates as part of their support package. So Teleos staff only have to support one program. As most of the team have worked here for many years, they have extensive knowledge of the program and how to apply its benefits to individual practices.

DO YOU WORK WITH CORPORATE PRACTICES?

We do work with corporates if they acquire a practice that already uses the program. But we don't supply our software to any. We greatly value our independence and choose to work with independent practices. No matter if you are a single vet, single site practice through to large group, we very much value your business.

HOW DO I MONITOR MY PRACTICE PERFORMANCE?

In addition to standard management and financial reports, Teleos also has a highly acclaimed KPI Dashboard - which gives an instant overview of how your practice is performing.

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE HARDWARE FROM TELEOS?

We do not force clients to purchase hardware from us. We use high quality equipment such as Dell, but are happy to advise on specifications for practices that wish to procure their own kit.

CAN I PRODUCE ELECTRONIC INSURANCE CLAIMS?

Yes. Teleos has been very proactive in the Vet-XML Consortium set up by SPVS. All Teleos users can produce insurance claims, electronic lab connections and microchip registration. And, by the way, we do not charge extra for any of these services.

In addition, we have partnered up with Agria Insurance to provide free initial insurance and access to client policy details prior to doing any work.

CAN I CONNECT MY INTERNAL LAB EQUIPMENT?

Teleos connects to many commonly used pieces of laboratory equipment. Tests can be ordered from the patient notes and results are posted back automatically when the tests are finished.

WHICH COUNTRIES DO YOU WORK IN?

Teleos has clients the length and breadth of the UK and Republic of Ireland. We also have clients in Norway and South Africa.

The program features a translation table so it can even be configured to work in different languages!

IS TELEOS 'CLOUD' BASED?

Teleos can either be run in a cloud or via a local server(s).


We have developed tools that allow us, if you are running into a cloud server, to synchronise to a live copy of the database physically in your own building. So you can have peace of mind that you will always have access to your data.

Remote connections are easily established via either configuration and the Teleos iPhone app allows you to stay in touch via mobile devices as well. 

WHAT IF I HAVE BRANCH SURGERIES?

Teleos runs on the MySQL database engine. Not only is this Open Source, it also allows multi-site replication. So, if you choose to run multiple local servers, your data would be synchronsied around the group. Unlike Microsoft SQL, this happens pretty much instantaneously.  With this arrangement you are not totally dependent on your broadband connection - if it goes down, each site can continue to run independently.

CAN YOU CONVERT MY EXISTING DATA?

We have never not been able to convert a practice's data. We have written our own conversion programs for all of the mainstream programs in use and we have also successfully converted many bespoke databases.
